Once you have browsed through our beautiful ranges and decided on the floor covering that you would like for your project, you will then need to know how much carpet you are going to require, so feel free to check out our easy step by step guide on how to measure your space in the correct way.

How much carpet will I need?

Step 1: Draw a plan of the area you want to measure (example right)

Step 2: Measure all the way into the doorway recesses and bay windows.

Step 3: Measure any drop backs, alcoves, fireplaces or fitted cupboards that you may have.

Step 4: Measure the width of the widest part of the room, then measure across the room at a few different points as not all walls are parallel, so this is important for getting an accurate measurement.
